day 1
I was wandering on the road from Larkwood to Whitehold when I took a wrong turn, I came across a broken bridge. Curious i quickly darted across the thick ice and carried on the path to a town called Grenvick 'Granvik'.
When I got there I saw utter destruction, no building was left standing. Walking through the hollow ruins of Granvik was like walking through a grave yard, tables were still laid and tools were still laid out. I found these sheets of paper under a pile of stones and am now writing them under the failing light. I will camp here.

Day 2
during the night I slew 3 goblins with my bow and crafted some boots for my cold feet in this frigid environment.
Its weird. I lived my whole life in places where I didn't belong. Sablewood, Whitehold, Alder. None of them felt like home. Ever since my inheritance was cut from me I wandered the earth, searching for some meaning in my life.
Walking through Granvik was like walking through my mind, broken and homeless but with the potential for greatness.
For once I feel as if I belong, this town is where I am meant to be. It may be broken and useless in it's current state but with some good honest work this town could be a town.

Day 3
I don't know how I missed it. It was right there clear as day. A throne room. Ther roof had caved in but the rubble had been covered with a blanket of snow. There are lights for when it gets dark and it is probably the most intact building in Granvik. I think I'll stay here. The throne itself is suprisingly comfy too.

Day 4
Spring is coming. I can feel it in my bones. The harbour is starting to melt and I can see frosty ships underneath the the frozen water.
The town is revealing more and more to me. I found a ruined building with beds neatly laid out and just gathering snow. Unfortunately the roof collapsed so I can't use it but it is yet another insight to the townsfolk before it was sacked. I also found a cave, I didn't go in because it was very dark and I as yet have to find some decent light source but it looks as if it runs right underneath Granvik.

Day 5
It was certainly an exciting day. I was 'tending' to a cow herd that had migrated just outside the town when it start to snow/rain. It was fine as my cloak kept me mostly dry. But then I heard a huge thunderous roar and the sky lit up like fire. Jumping out of my skin I quickly hid in the village and tried to wait the thunderstorm out. But then a group of goblins invaded the ruins under the cover of the thunderstorm. It was a close fight and a couple of the goblins bit me and gave me a bash but in the end I killed them. I made a poultice out of crushed apple and ate a bit of meat and wait the rest of the storm out. I'm on the mend but it was a close one for sure.

Day 7
There was another thunderstorm today. It started about mid-afternoon and the first thunderclap gave me a miniature heart attack. After a while I got used to it, but then it started to move! Just before evening fell it passed over Granvik. Luckly I was sheltered between the town wall and a ruined building. The forks of lightning were flashing not twenty feet from where I was. Finally it passed over the village although it is still going even I write this. It is dark now so I'd better be vigilant for goblins and the like.

Day 8
I was running low on supplies so I had to make a journey to East Sablewood to replenish my stock. On the way there I was caught in a rainstorm at night on the Whitehold highway. The goblins were swarming and I thought I was a goner but then I saw a large house. Running towards I just had time to note the address "Whitehold Highway 1" Once I got inside I was greeted by two lovely gentlemen who announced that this was the V & V trading company.
After explaining my predicament they graciously allowed me to dry off in the foyer. Which is where I'm writing this now. The two traders soon forgot I was there and began moaning about how their boss wouldn't open the shop.
((there are water drop stains dotted over the sheet))

Day 10
Two days ago I was in Granvik. Then the goblins came
There were about two dozen of them, both with and without bows. I tried to fight them off but they were too many. After a while of holding them off I made the difficult choice to flee. I ran quickly out of my hiding place. hearing the thud of arrows run into the ground behind me. Then one of the arrows hit me. The pain was intense and I had to slow to a walk.
I finally got to the bridge and hurried down onto the ice. The goblins were still following me. Once I had finally crossed the slippery ice. I looked back across the ice to see the horde of goblins still coming. With all the blood loss and exhaustion i had to lay down. I was still looking at them when something miraculous happened.
The mass of goblins was too much for the ice and right before my eyes i heard a huge crack and saw all the goblins go down to the icy depths. Then I passed out.
After I woke up I started writing this. I plan to go to East Sablewood and gather some more apples as I'm running low.

Day 25
Not much has been happening for the past week or so. I've been slowly recuperating and exacting my vengeance on the goblins in East Sable wood. I have a good inventory and things are looking up.
