Welcome to Jericho's Tales of the Past, histories he has encountered long ago that molded his personality and shaped the quiet warrior you know as 'Silent'... Every So often, when a major event occurs to Jericho, Or to the server, a piece of history will be revealed from his past for the player to read. These will be read as if from the eyes of Jericho, as if it were a journal of his thoughts... If you need to know his background in relation to some more common parts of Jericho, see the Application for whitelist (Which needs to get approved badly, i cant wait to actually log in )On hold till i get this lore issue sorted out, brain hurt.

From what i have seen and read.... The playable area is like, a continent, so i dummied up an isle somewhere in the ocean there is bound to be, and that's it... Could not find ANY lore on the forum, and the wiki seems to be a work in progress, cause a lot of it was 'coming soon', Can't base my things off of something i cant figure out

Whilst there are aspects of the wiki that are still WIP, there is a lot of lore that is on the wiki, notably information on the races, and information about the cities.

talarra.wikia.com/wiki/LoreWell, I found the lore. With the cities and places of interest. So.... There you go, something to go off of. I can understand how you feel that its tough to not be able to make somewhere new for you to be from, somewhere unique. In my first application to this server, I put a bunch of stuff from the last server, that a lot of people here are from, Mel Lenxia. But we don't go by Mel Lenxia lore, so I was denied. Then I just revamped in, wrote a nice little ditty about where I was from INSIDE Talarra, and I was accepted not long after. The fun isn't in making a bunch of stuff up for yourself to be awesome, its using their guideline and filling it in with things that happen that make you awesome. Edit: Also, you CAN look for things you don't know of.

I know of the lore page, a lot of actual 'Talarra Lore' links are in progress. thats what i used mainly to get around. Also, just as a challenge, i want you to google something you dont know the name of, then come back to me.

Well, no, my point is, you look for something that you don't know of, and therefore, learn. But someone had some sassafras this morning obviously, and now you're just full of sass. T_T

Hey Jericho,
From one friendly role-player to another, you may want to read my short story project. It describes my character's life from when he was a boy until now, but with a twist. I included a few stories on the side as well. The best part is, my character is a pirate. So an island adventure was perfect to fit to. It didn't really have to reach lore standards. I suggest you read it, maybe that could help you're writing. This wasn't meant to sound like a "jerky" post, just friendly advice.
Thanks for reading.

Also, just as a challenge, i want you to google something you dont know the name of, then come back to me. That is reasonably rude, especially since I was just trying to help and guide you. If you had bothered to simply go onto the wiki, and click the link to the Lore section, you would see a section called 'Cities,Towns and Locations'. It's really not hard, so I shall put your inability to find such articles down to laziness (in that you were either too lazy to click the word 'Lore', or you were too lazy to scroll down after wards and read the list of sections). talarra.wikia.com/wiki/LoreYour move, convince me that finding the big list of towns wasn't easy as hell. EDIT: Just thought I would mention, I actually read the story originally posted on this thread, and even though it didn't fit the lore, it was really really good and got me excited at the prospect of another great writer on the server (the first great writer is MDS btw )

you took that to be rude? >_> Thats not the point i was getting across. in the words of a very cartoony chicken Rooster. "Its a joke son, Y' supposed to laugh"
Anyway, Derp. there is a list, Still dosent help me that Viventor and Whitehold both say they are the captiols.
Viventor: " it is thought that it was the first Syccan settlement in Talarra, and since then has been seen as the capital city"
Whitehold: "Whitehold is the capital of Talarra"
That is going to nag me for a while, it says its a Syccan settlement... can two different races have a capital city in the same region? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of a capital city being a singular hub of trade, commerce, and politics?
Side note: This is more like "Issues of the Present: Jericho" not Tales of the Past: Jericho XD
Edit; ill get around to it MDS, Amalur just finished downloading, so a lot of my life is going into that for the next two days while im here at my dads house XD

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of a capital city being a singular hub of trade, commerce, and politics? It wouldn't occur to you that two different races with different culture and heritage and vastly different life-span, would treasure their respective cities more? ; ] The syccan were around for much longer than humans and they stick to their own capital, so even if Talarra is predominantly human kingdom now, I don't see why the syccan would give up their heritage and declare human Whitehold their capital as well.

Eh, i guess. Talarra dosent seem like a region big enough to hold two nations like that, but maybe im just underestimating. Anyway, lore issue sorted out. ill work on the Tales later on. Can get let in now pweese?

Dummy post to the admins: I modified my v2 application, Took kindly to the words of the critic. Check it now and see if it passes, since that is the only thing stopping me from getting whitelisted
