Part I - Where One Man's Ending Begins
The Ophian thief fell to the ground as the burning wooden dagger continued to slowly kill him. Ha'amish looked to the Thaga, alarmed because he hadn't noticed that it (He would simply refer to the Thaga as an "it" because of its brutish nature. ) was charging towards him, its battle-axe unsheathed. The Thaga was larger than any Thaga Ha'amish had ever encountered. It jumped and slammed his axe into the ground, as Ha'amish had sidestepped right before it could get him, and Ha'amish felt a slight tremor as it met the ground. It had its back to him, and he saw it as the perfect chance to strike. He took out another wooden dagger and set it on fire. Ha'amish sprinted towards the Thaga and jumped on its back, piercing the dagger into it. The Thaga stood, shaking Ha'amish off, and roared in pain.
"I see that your beast-like appearance really matches with your beast-like nature," Ha'amish said.
"Stupid Syccan, do you think I would die as simply as my partner? My partner... who I shall avenge by bathing in your blood!" The Thaga was furiously determined, yet this determination would fail it, because Ha'amish would discover something he had not known. The Thaga grabbed Ha'amish by the neck, the mere pressure of its hand almost suffocating him in a quick period of time, but Ha'amish survived. He grabbed its hand, and felt something that filled him up. At the same time, the Thaga felt its hand weakening. Its hand became too weak to hold on to Ha'amish, and it let him go. Ha'amish reached straight for his heart as the Thaga was trying to make sense of what was going on. The Thaga felt his whole body weakening, and slowly, he lost consciousness. Eventually the Thaga died, and Ha'amish walked away.
"Damn thugs," he said.
Part II - A Reunion
Nuria held a staff in her hand. A cloaked figure walked up to her, "The thugs are dead. We found them on the streets and moved the bodies out of the path."
"Where is my son heading now?" Nuria queried.
"He's at the tavern in Whitehold. Probably staying for the night."
"Then go."
Ha'amish woke up to find himself tied up with a sack covering his head. Nuria pulled the sack off, "Hello, Ha'amish. I hope you can think straight without this Primal Nephrite." Nuria held the staff with the Primal Nephrite
"Mother?" Ha'amish said.
"The staff needed your Primal Nephrite."
She untied Ha'amish, "Come."
Ha'amish followed as Nuria showed him many old family antiques.
"You remember this staff?"
"Yes. I thought it was broken."
"It's a key."
They walked into a enormous cavern with many symbols and glyphs on the walls. In the center of the cavern was an old stone tower. They entered the tower and walked up the stairs. On the top of the tower were eight holes. Seven were circling one in the center. The cloaked figures were standing behind each of the seven holes with their staffs.
As Nuria explained, her words slowly muffled in Ha'amish's head. The Primal Nephrite seemed to be glowing brighter than normal to him. He felt it was calling for him, that it belonged to him.
He volleyed a fireball at Nuria.
"What are you doing!?" she yelled.
"It's my Nephrite."
He volleyed another fireball. Nuria had multiple burns. She pointed the staff at him, and he felt himself weakening.
"Ungrateful child," she said.
Ha'amish grabbed the staff and redirected it at her. They both felt themselves weakening. Ha'amish kicked Nuria, pushing her back and forcing her to let go of the staff. He spun the staff once and set her on fire. In a few seconds, Nuria became a pile of ash. Each of the seven cloaked figures pointed their staffs at Ha'amish. He dropped the staff and fell to his knees.
This is the end of Ha'amish Nasani.
Part III - Secrets Revealed
"It is done," one of the cloaked figures said.
"He was the last of the Nasani bloodline."
"No more interruptions."
"Then let it begin."
"Yes, let it begin."
"It shall be done."
"Let us open the gifts of our ancestors."
The staff was inserted in the hole in the middle, and the cloaked figures inserted their staffs in the holes. A symbol on the rooftop glowed green. The symbols in the cavern began to glow green as well. On the walls the symbols seemed to make up some sort of map.
