Note* This isn't completely final. Rules could change.
The guild system is here! Read the following about the new, hopefully immersing guild system for Legends of Talarra. This document will start with what you need to know about guilds, and if you are aiming to start your own official guild, how to do so.
GUILD SYSTEM – TYPES OF GUILDS
There are four type of guilds:
1. Trade Guilds*
2. Service Guilds*
3. Combat Guilds*
4. Cults
*Note: Any of these guilds can be illegal and secret from the government if necessary. The process to achieve the perks and levels will still be done in an OOC manner.
TRADE GUILDS
• These guilds will include merchant guilds, miner guilds, farmer guilds, lumberjack guilds, etc.
• Basically, any guild that is dedicated to the provision of a good, or a trade shall be considered as a trade guild.
• Trade guilds will receive slightly different perks than the service oriented guilds.
SERVICE GUILDS
• These guilds will include healer guilds, political guilds, worker guilds, or any other guild dedicated to provide a service.
COMBAT GUILDS
• These guilds will include army type guilds, guard guilds, brute guilds, mercenary guilds, etc.
• Any guild that is dedicated to be it defense, violence, or any sort of combat oriented goal shall be considered a combat guild.
CULTS
• Guilds or groups dedicated to secret/occult goals, be it religion, or anything else shall be considered cults.
• Cults will work as guilds but will be treated in an OOC manner.
A player may only be part of two guilds, and those guilds cannot be the same guild type.
GUILD SYSTEM – GUILD LEVELS
Guilds will work on a 1-10 level basis, 1 being the basic level, 10 the highest possible.
To start a guild, the guild leader must submit to the government (If public, otherwise it shall be an OOC application) it’s application, which will be found below. As an incentive, reaching level 1 will not cost any money to the guild, but they are required to repay the government with the product the guild achieves. For example, a guild that is dedicated to farming could supply the government with food to give out to the hungry. Guard guilds could lend their men in the battlefronts, etc.
